Dr. Bruce Hagelthorn

Dr. Bruce Hagelthorn grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate studies and dental school. He seeks to learn and improve his knowledge and skills by attending many hours of continuing education each year. Some of his specific interests are providing care for TMJ disorders, relief for craniofacial pain, including headaches and migraines, dental solutions for sleep apnea and sleep breathing disorders, dental implants, and creating stunningly beautiful smiles.

Dr. Hagelthorn has wanted to be a dentist since early high school, a desire that has never decreased. It is his opinion, there is hardly a better field than dentistry to improve the quality, health and confidence of people’s lives. It has been his honor and joy to develop relationships with his patients and serve them by calming their fears, getting them out of pain, helping them to chew better, and increasing their confidence and self-esteem by improving their smiles.

He currently lives in South Lyon with his wonderful wife, Kathleen. They have two children, William, who is studying biomedical engineering at Michigan Tech, and Emily who is a freshman studying mechanical engineering at Lake Superior State. When he’s not doing dentistry, he enjoys vacations and time with family, and going on short term dental/medical missionary trips to Zambia, Africa.
