Will my insurance cover cosmetic dental care?

Insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses for cosmetic treatment vary. Our practice will work with your insurance provider to verify coverage and will provide you with different treatment options to achieve your cosmetic goals. We will review treatment options with you and help you find a payment option for your needs and your budget.

I’m worried about the cost of dental care I need. What are my options?

At Great Lakes Family Dental, we welcome new patients at $57 for an exam, all necessary x-rays, a cleaning and treatment plan. This is a great way to get to know the practice. We also accept Essential Dental, a dental savings plan that allows members to have the dental care they need at the savings they can afford. Does health insurance cover dental work?

Health insurance and dental insurance are two different types of coverage. Some procedures such as oral surgery may be covered under your health insurance. Call your office and speak with a Patient Care Representative to learn more.

Do I need dental insurance to get braces?

While many plans provide Orthodontic benefits, you do not need dental insurance. Braces are available to all patients regardless of dental insurance! We offer several payment options including No Money Down and monthly payment plans with autopay.

Does dental insurance cover implants?

Most dental insurance plans cover dental implants. Each plan is different so contact your dental insurance company for full details.
