Dr. Amber Sharpley

Dr. Amber Sharpley was raised in Detroit and Chesterfield, Michigan. She attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she received her Bachelor of Science, with a certificate in Dental Hygiene. After spending a few years working as a dental hygienist, she realized that her passion for dentistry was continuing to grow, and she wanted to be able to do more for her patients. Dr. Sharpley decided to return to school and continue her education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Sharpley hopes to motivate and educate patients about the importance of oral health, as well as provide comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Sharpley is no stranger to education. She believes that continuing education and keeping an open mind to the ever-evolving field of dentistry will allow her to deliver patient-based, quality care. Dr. Sharpley remains an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association, as well as the Alpha Omega Professional Dental Fraternity.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sharpley enjoys spending time with her husband, Antonio, and her puppy, Daisy. She also enjoys going on camping trips with her entire family and vacationing in sunny Florida when she can. Dr. Sharpley’s newest hobby consists of DIY projects around her new home as she and her husband prepare for the arrival of their baby boy this fall!
